Johnnie To's Vengeance at the Gene Siskel this week

Johnnie To's Vengeance is screening at the Gene Siskel this weekend (Saturday @5:15, Mon +Wed @6pm. Johnnie To is my favorite current Hong Kong filmmaker. He directed The Mission, Election 1 & 2, Exiled, and pretty much every good Hong Kong gangster film in the last decade. Vengeance is good but suffers from having a good portion of it's dialog in English. But it is a rare opportunity to see a Johnnie To film on the big screen.

Two new movie trailers

Here is the trailer for "Valhalla Rising" a Viking movie staring Mads Mikkleson ( Pusher trilogy and the bad guy in Casino Royale)

Also here is the trailer for the latest by Johnnie To, "Vengeance". I am really looking forward to seeing this film.
